Ray's amazing cover of C&W songs in the early 1960's - ground breaking work.
The sound is not "country" but big-band swing soulful blues. No twang about this music.
Google this album to understand the significance. It's in the Grammy Hall of Fame.

This is one of my favorite album finds this year! I just received the 45rpm vinyl today and it is glorious!
