What Are You Listening To Right Now?

I liked a lot of 80's Dead; I saw them a lot in Oakland and Mountain View. But they toured because that's what they did; they were a live band. Sometimes an album would come out while they were doing that, most of the time they didn't. Jerry didn't care much about GD studio albums.
I saw them in Philly in the late '80s, after In The Dark was released and it was a great show. If I remember correctly, it was the year that Bob Dylan was the tour with them.

The Old Fabled River . Alasdair Roberts and Völvur

Something unique tonight. Alasdair Roberts is one of the most talented Scottish folk bards. He collaborated with Völvur – a Norwegian folk collective – on this 2021 album. Both sing in their native language. We all react to music differently, but this experience is genuinely moving for me. How the ancient shines through, how culture shows before social engineers messed it up, how mystery is transported. The way they weave and intertwine traditions is utterly beautiful.

The K&D Sessions one of the most perfect soundtracks to a hot summer’s day… fantastic mix.
I agree! It's one of those rare albums where every songs a keeper, no filler tracks.
