Arrangements by Bela and bassist Edgar Meyer of compositions by Bach,
Debussy, Chopin, Brahms, Scarlatti, Paganini and Beethoven. Antique acoustic
instruments are used. Winner of two Grammy awards in 2002.
Solo classical guitar compositions by Andrew and performed on a 1931 cedar
top guitar made by Hermann Hauser I. Brilliant playing is evidenced.
Bela along with John Williams on the guitar.
The guitar rings like a bell in his hands ... it was made by the German luthier Hermann Hauser.

Chris Martin has changed allot and i'm not sure I like it. I was his biggest fan for many, many years, and he is a very different person now compared to the shy, withdrawn almost autistic character he was almost exactly 10 years ago when I met him backstage at the SECC in Glasgow, Scotland on 3rd December 2011. He's even changing the way he play's this song now! not a good move.
Because... his "parachute" has landed, he "sorted out" his life, and he's famously mainstream now...
He put out a gem of a song like "Coloratura" and I hoped the entire album will be like that, different. A new direction. But then he filled the rest of it with songs that tick every commercial box so that it will sell to a large audience.

Eg & Alice's 1991 album '24 Years of Hunger'
An old friend told me about this album last night.
I had never heard of the artists, or the album, before.
It is very '90s but I really like it.
I couldn't find it on Qobuz, so resorted to Youtube.
I've ordered the CD
