Welcome to 1979! really fun rockin song by a little known band called New England.this album was produced by Paul Stanley of Kiss and scored a top 40 hit with the track 'Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya'. If You are a fan of old Kiss,Starz,Angel,Cheap Trick,Electric Light Orchestra,Styx,Boston etc.. I highly recommend seeking this record out.it was originally released through Infinity and later MCA and in 2009 was reissued on CD by Renaissance records and the entire album start to finish is just fantastic!

I have been listening to a bunch of 80s style electro like Kavinsky. If anyone knows where I can find more music like this be sure to let me know! The best comparison I can think of in popular culture would be the Scarface theme. I have been loving this lately. Below is an example of one of the songs that I have been listening to nonstop.

Joe Henderson - Inner Urge

45rpm vinyl released by Music Matters and mastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman.

I highly recommend jazz fans who haven't heard this album to check out track three El Barrio for some incredible playing by Mr. Henderson. McCoy Tyner's solo at the end of the last track is also killer.
