iron and wine - our endless and numbered days

it's kind of a funny story... I keep playing my CD's on my wifes 5 disc changer in the 5th position and then when they finish it switches to the 1st position and plays this CD... at first I would change back and put something of mine on... but lately I've just been letting it play because it is really good

"Axis of Ignorance" from Nils Petter Molvaer's NP3 to reflect the state of the world.

Also, other quality stuff on the modern jazz tip:

Bugge Wesseltoft: Filming
Esbjörn Svensson Trio: Seven Days of Falling

'Angina' by 'Tristania' on the most splendid album 'Beyond the Veil'. The album is a masterpiece, absolutely enchanting.

I'm also listening to Diana Krall - The Girl In The Other Room.

An interesting album. The first of hers to contain original material, I believe. My favourite among the original songs is Departure Bay. Not only is it a great song, but it also reminds me of when I lived in Nanaimo. Once per month, I'd go down to Departure Bay to catch the ferry across to visit my folks on the Mainland.

Ah, memories...
