I've implanted the Chaintech thingy today into my GFs computer, did cost me an hour for the setup.The "back stereo" line out definately isn't capable of driving the Grados properly, I need an additional amp.
I have a dream :
Iron dreamer suddenly discovers that the Benchmark DAC1 is overprized voodoo, a new Sony player sounds(slightly modded, indeed) better. Much better. It's, as usual, a difference like day and night.
A few days later a sale stampede begins, lots of head-fiers are trying to get rid of the old FOTM.
This way I get another Benchmark for 500 $.
