Delicious stuff. Oh yeah!

What’s unique is that this is authentic American food but the type of rare regional American dishes that most Americans have never heard of.

Trip to Nashville Tennessee

The most famous dish in Nashville is the Nashville Hot Chicken

Invented at Prince’s Hot Chicken

This is hands down my favorite version of the Nashville Hot Chicken. I was surprised because I thought it was going to be an overrated tourist trap but I was wrong. It’s excellent

Here’s the long line. People love this place. I love it too. Oh yeah!

Prince’s Hot Chicken is a local favorite in Nashville and they even have a Wikipedia page:

Nashville Hot Chicken on top of French toast in Chattanooga Tennessee

This was an extra spicy version. Different from the one in Nashville. A lovely breakfast in the city of Chattanooga

Korean pepperoni pizza pastry…(From a Korean pastry shop)

This was shockingly very good. I normally don’t like pizza type imitations. However this was well done and I think many people will like this very much. The texture was very good too and flavors well balanced. Good attention to detail with this product.

Typically when people think of pastries, they think of the European versions but I’ve seen some really good ones in Japan and at the Korean shops in America

Edit:

So I visited a different Korean shop today and had a corn cheese waffle. You may have seen corn cheese as a side dish at a Korean barbecue place. This is a waffle version. A lovely snack.

Gorditas

The tortilla shells are hand made from scratch and also the hot sauces too are also house made from the restaurant.

This is a famous Mexican dish. When everything is house made including the shells it’s so delicious. Mmmm…

Arepas

Arepas are from South America. You may have heard of arepas from the Disney movie Encanto. It’s usually filled with cheese but other ingredients can be used too

One tip:

If you’re out eating Mexican food and you have leftover hot sauce in a container, it’s kind of a shame to throw it away. I like to add it to my burger the next day or so. You can also add the leftover Mexican hot sauce to your breakfast eggs for a Texas style breakfast

Welsh Rarebit

Welsh rarebit is an old British bread dish made with cheese sauce on top. This particular version is made with buttermilk toast, cheddar cheese and whole grain mustard.

Rabbit Pie

Rabbit pie is an old English dish. You may have heard of shepherds pie but rabbit pie is also an old historical food.

Both of these dishes go well with beer. Lovely as a nice dinner or lunch

Chilled Yellow tomato soup (yes it’s a cold soup)

Cold soups are rare but sometimes you can find them in parts of Europe and Asia.

51F253FD-BEE5-4C58-A57C-B9CA05E5746B.jpeg

This was made from yellow heirloom tomatoes, basil, pine nuts and olives.

Absolutely amazing! Wow. Possibly the shocker of the year. So delicious

Chinese soy sauce chicken

Normally Chinese food doesn’t look this fancy but this version of soy sauce chicken looks so good that a gentleman walked by my table and asked me what it was and ordered the same dish too.

CF881EFA-E1D9-48D6-8376-12B9006AB864.jpeg

This is an example of authentic Chinese food. But I think even a person who may not like authentic Chinese food will like this dish. Delicious and looks so appetizing that a stranger had to interrupt me and ordered the same thing. A meal fit for a king.
