What are 3 additions to the FW of the DX50 or DX90 that you would like?

So I'm sorry. I did misinterpret this. Thank you for listening to customers :)

It is ok. It is good to question and to question motives. Enjoy the music.

The DX90 is so close to perfect for me, but if I had 3 things that I could change it would be these:

1. Easier way of creating a playlist, maybe a software we can download to create and manage playlists?
2. Replaygain support
3. Fixed line out

Would make the DX90 just that little bit more complete.

It will be good to fix gapless issue, have another volume control for line out, maybe a software to do auto syn from your pc to dx90.

1.  Resolve the cutout/fade-out fade-in bug.

2.  I find using the touch screen to scroll down long lists to find a specific tune is too touchy and difficult.
Perhaps allow the left and right front panel buttons to double as scroll up or scroll down when in "all music", "artist" etc. search modes?

3.  Allow the back button to return the listener to the last played song instead of another random selection.

1. Smoother/more predictable scrolling. The current crude "two-speed" ballistics are totally unpredictable and make navigating one's collection a chore rather than a pleasure. (More detail here.)

2. Fixed volume for line out. ...although I suspect this might be impossible due to hardware limitations. If there isn't a software-controllable ANALOG adjustment point on both the headphone and line outputs (and I'm pretty sure there isn't), then there's no way for one output to be at a certain volume irrespective of the other. If it's possible to do, it would be great, but I'm guessing it isn't possible due to the architecture of the analog side of the circuit.

3. Show track number (and total tracks, e.g. '2/16') on the home screen.

BONUS: Show codec next to bit depth/sample rate.

To fix the line out requires hardware for this. The DX90 doesn't have the hardware. We are looking into the track number and total number. It requires a redesign of the screen layout.

Question to iBasso: Is there a plan to add any file management features in future firmware releases?
Use case: I copy a few new folders of MP3 or FLAC files. I listen to them and wish to delete the folders or individual files within folders. What would be nice is a sub-menu or an "x" next to the folder name that would delete the file or folder. Copying and moving would be nice as well, but delete is the feature I need most. If there's no plan to put this in the stock firmware, is there support for file management in any of the modded versions?

Thanks!

P.S. I found this thread after posting the same Q in the DX50 firmware thread.. (http://www.head-fi.org/t/679473/the-ibasso-dx50-thread-latest-firmware-1-9-2/16890#post_11547010)

To understand this. You are not talking about making playlists and deleting a song from that?

Paul, I appreciate this thread and your customer service.

Would it be possible to let us know what that status of the bug fixes are or maybe let us know if what we consider a bug is an intended feature and won't be fixed?

Thank you.

As bugs come up we work on them but it would be hard to list ones that may be a true bug or not. What is brought to our attention you can be assured is discussed and rectified as soon as possible.
