My heavy rotation cans are:
1. DT-880 (for most occasions)
2. XB-700 (for when I get the bass itch)
 
Willing to try new and exciting stuff. 
I like country, indie rock and twee pop, hip hop, club electronica and idm, ambient, piano, classic rock, folk, space rock / shoegaze, math / noise rock. 
I spend very little time listening to classical, but appreciate Keith Jarrett and Mstislav Rostropovich.
Recommendations?  $50 - 500 range?

Yes, I have.  I'll be polite and just say they aren't for me. 
I should mention I'm looking for circumaurals, not supras or in-ears.
