Looking into my first IEM's and wanted to know if the UM1's are
A. Good for the gym-will stay in while doing big acitve work-outs
B. Would fit well for a small woman with tiny ears
C. Are easy to put in and take out
D. and of course sound great!

Been through CX400's which fit well, but sounded icky, Koss Porta Pros, great but open and no sound isolation
isolation, and now Marshmallows which are pretty cool for 20 bucks.

Thanks

I thikn you are on a winner. They stay in your ear pretty well, and have a nice set of tips to work off. You can also get Shure Olive tips (I reccomend), and you will be content.

They sound fantastic for intro-IEMs

In terms of insertion, it's an over the ear one, so it's a little bit trick at teh start, but once u get used to it, its simple

Are the Shure Olive Foam tips associated with any specific Shure IEM
model? I want to make sure I order the right kind for the UM1's.
Thanks again

Check out this page: DiscountHeadphones.com

You want the E1/E3/E5 <size> Black Foam Sleeves. Probably small if you have tiny ears.

Anything with E1/E3/E5 will fit the UM1s. Stuff meant for E2s will not fit.
