I researched in the past, bought all the no-brand tips from ebay to fit Westone iems, and they were also flimsy junk (the cap needs to be firmer to form a good seal). Seriously, man, you got S215 with all the tips, don't be lazy, just try their silicone olive tips

Regarding 10kHz peak on W60, it improves definition and clarity, sibilance "peak" is around 6k-7k. Your ears are sensitive to treble, but the good news (for you ) is that W80 attenuated around 10k

Id hate to play with eq to tame the 6-7k for the w60 so i just avoid playing shty tracks for now. Otherwise great iems for so many other tracks im keeping both

Are you referring to some special bundle? Do you have a link to share? I have seen it on Amazon, bundled with BT cable. In theory, those are 2 separate products, but sometimes they offer them in a bundle. The only pair of Westone IEMs that comes with bluetooth cable is Westone Wx (it's either UM1 or W10 with BT Cable, good deal for only $179).

I believe they offered that bundle during black Friday or Christmas Time for a pretty decent price.

Actually it was just before Thanksgiving that I bought the special. It was a decent discount even without the Bluetooth cable. About $200 off the price of the iems alone.

Oh, yeah, I remember that deal. Nice option, either get discount or free BT cable. But seems that $200 discount offer expired, while they still sell W60/BTcable bundle for $1k.

Btw, all the original UM Pro models are heavily discounted on Amazon now as well, since the new updated version was released.

Anybody tried these? Metal faceplates it seems, probably will add just a bit weight to the W60 for it to have a little more heft.

You might wonna search the thread (finally, thread search function is added!!!), since there was a few people talking about it in a past, sharing their experience with these c-clip faceplates.

I do love the Westone Star Tips cause it's so easy to put in and get a great seal effortlessly, but does anyone know if anybody makes a tip very similar that would fit a large stem IEM? Or maybe if it is possible to DIY some kinda hack that you could somehow fit a Star Tip onto a IEM with a larger bore stem?
