I have a Westone UM2 with removable cable and I would like to have a um56(customized ear-piece)....How much would it be if I buy it in USA? And how should I order it?
Thanks!

1964 Ears have a good rep around here and they charge $100 for this.

But if I was you and if you dont really care about resell value

you could just get the whole UM2 reshelled to fit your ear. Inearz is a company in FL that does that service for $90(?) and you will have a full custom. Here is their website http://www.inearz.com/. 1964 Ears and a few other companies do the service too but they are more expensive.

I have one custom a JH Audio JH5 but I had planned to get my UE TF10 reshelled because I found them so uncomfortable at first. My experience getting a custom was great I went to an audiologist paid $50 for impressions of both ears sent them to JH audio in Florida waited a little over a month and I got them in the mail with a perfect fit. There are people who have had bad experiences because they for whatever reason cannot get that perfect fit and a custom without a perfect fit is useless. Also if you get a custom it kills resell value because whoever buys them has to now send them in and pay to get them molded to their ears. Those cons are something to think about but I still recommend going for it if you love the sound of the UM2 and don't plan on upgrading/replacing them anytime soon.

okok, now I am planning to go for Inearz. Do you have any experience with this company? Or anyone you know tried with this company? Are the products of this company reliable and in good quality? Thanks
