I bought these a while ago as backups to my UM3x's. Got quite a good price on ebay. My expectations were not great. To my surprise, they sounded...pretty good! Though they had nowhere near the bass of the 3x's, they still had a recognizable Westone sound signature, the overall sound was more than listenable, and the comfort was actually superior to the 3x's.
Don't get me wrong, I love the UM3x's, but there are occasions and activities when I'd rather not wear expensive IEM's. And of course, I will be anxious to obtain Westone 5's/UM5x's if/when they come out.
