If I have been rude in any way (which I believe I haven't), then I'm sorry. But TheMarchingMule, you were rude to me in the first place, and I replied. Your 4000+ posts don't either scare me or make you always right. Don't go jabbering about my attitude or personality just because you read ONE of my posts, which incidentaly was a reply to your provocation. I will not waste one single line more in this matter.
This post was just that: a need to express my frustration at an item which should have performed better. Thanks to all of those who replied suggesting possible solutions for the problem. I have been reading information for quite some time now about phones, and am after a pair of ESW9. I just wanted to state the fact of Apple consciously selling bad quality phones with a "good quality" (don't slaughter me for this) portable device. That is all.

neblin may be correct at posting how his apple earphones are busted, but im pretty sure not everyone needs to know about the apple earphones breaking... here in this forum.

TSi has pinpointed my pet peeve in this thread: that people these days tend to just post new threads (or posts) that are really of no meaning. You (
Neblin) could have taken care of this by yourself, just either searching around for new 'phones, creating a topic asking about a certain pair of 'phones and how they are, or just going to that giant ESW9 thread and spending all night reading it.
Ironically, the reason why it's taken me so long to reply to this thread (and I'm amused that
gautam has been staying online ever since he posted here) is because I was packing up my SA6 to return to SoundEarphones.com. So maybe if I start a thread about how I'm packing it up, how I had to refer back to my unpacking photos to reverse engineer the process, and so forth, how right now trying to bend a small paper clip in a piece of foam is more trouble than I thought...
See what I mean? Well, that's just my feeling, opinion, and thought. I don't think I'll hear back from
Neblin on this though, because he said he won't "waste one single line more in this matter," so I'll guess he'll keep true to his word.
But an underlying sense of this thread I think is that
Neblin just wanted to vent his frustration to somebody (not in an insane way, rather a conversational way), but I think of we all vented our frustrations about anything concerning this hobby or life in any of the forums (including the Members' Lounge area), then there would be so frustrating to try and sift through all of the personal issues compared to threads that people can really contribute to with their knowledge and expertise and learn from.
The iBuds in question were just a bad pair, and again, it is common sense that not all iBuds are this way (for example, both my friends had PK2s who died the same way, to say PK2 earbuds are all bad quality is an overstatement compared to the general population who have them and are still working), and the way
Neblin stated this was one of generalizing of hating a company just because of one thing.
(Oh, and
gautam, please tell me where in
Neblin's original post does it imply that he is asking for 'phone recommendations? He is simply just generalizing and swearing at Apple for one bad loop of luck he had.)
