Hey guys,
I've been having some trouble getting wasapi on foobar. I make sure that
foobar is closed, I put the dll file into the components folder but whenever I open
foobar it crashes saying something about how an internal component is damaged.
As soon as I delete wasapi from the components folder, I can use foobar again.
I thought that something might have happened when I downloaded wasapi
so I downloaded it again and the same thing occurred. I am currently using
foobar v1.3.3 so compatibility shouldn't be an issue. Does anyone have any idea
what to do?

I just tried, removed wasapi, installed latest version of foobar, downloaded wasapi from http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_out_wasapi
started foobar, file->preferences->component window-> clic install and go get the WASAPI.fb2k-component where I just downloaded it, open, apply, ok to restart. and voila!
worked just as well when I moved the file to the component directory first.

try that, and if there is an error message give it to us. if it just crashes or doesn't work, you can simply install foobar on another hard drive partition, then try again with the wasapi component. if it works, well the problem is with your current install of foobar. it doesn't solve anything, but you can move stuff from last foobar to the new one and each time check if the problem moved with the directory. or simply remove the first foobar if you don't mind using the second one.
