Warm/V-shaped high end recommendation

No idea on the IE600, I'm assuming it's more neutral based on reviews. The IE900 is a known bass monster.
I see, yeah the curve suggests a very slight bass reduction too. Ideally I’d like to try a few, I don’t suppose anyone knows somewhere in London I could trial the mest or U12T/U4t? the Z1R seems nigh on impossible to get in the UK so may have to give up on those for now as an option.

Fatfreq is probably what you're looking for. Based on what you said, these might a bit brighter than your preference, but that 8k peak is virtually ubiquitous, so you'll probably have to EQ that down yourself.

I'll tell you this. If you love some earth shaking bass, Fatfreq does not disappoint. Their tuning outside of bass is also excellent, although they have a measured peak at 8k too.

Definitely sounds interesting - so this would be the maestro series?

Yeah definitely sounds like what I’d be looking for. Don’t suppose you know if they can be trialled anywhere in London UK?
Elise Audio. But their demo unit has been sent back to FF for some touch ups, so it'll be a few more weeks before they get the demo set back.

Ah fair enough haha - do you know how the grand maestro compare to the SE?
Grand Maestro is a more refined MSE. MSE is a specialist for heavy bass, but is less balanced than the GM and may not work for many genres.

Driver count is the same but GM is brighter around treble air region, so more perceived details. MSE more warmer (and bass is more muddy). Vocals GM is better imo. Staging too.

Thanks, I may be able to pick up a second hand pair in the uk for a bit cheaper so very close to pulling the trigger right now… Do you know if Fatfreq will convert a universal to custom?

I think they might be able to, you can double check by using the live chat on their website. They usually reply within a day. But you'll have to pay some fees to convert Uni to customs of course

Also how drivable are these? Could an iPhone drive them or they require an external amp?
They are one of the hardest IEMs I've ever tried to drive. Harder than the Subtonic Storm. I'd recommend getting a good dac amp, tho u could probably make do with something like the Q5k or BTR5/BTR7.

When I demoed the GM, I was using the Q5k. It drive it just fine, but once I get my GM I'm gonna uogradr my Q5k to the MUB1.
