Crinacle's graph actually says that, so that means we can ignore everything between 7k-10k on his site?
Technically the peak in that region is just exacerbated by the coupler. Due to IEMs being in your ear they will have a resonance of some kind which will boost some of the upper regions of the frequency response. Just varies more than being specific to ~8khz. Its graph looks very similar to the ER2XR, I might check it if they have free returns.
The Elixir can be a bit fit-dependent in my experience but it's better than the Tanchjim O2.
