I can understand why some would be suspicious of it being hype but cmon.... you got several people telling you it makes $100 DAPs sound like trash. If any are skeptical it's only a $30 entry fee tops 

 
 
@nick n , I am definitely paying attention to changes as it burns in, and have another walnut already on the way I'll try to a/b compare with to see if any noticeable differences.

We just barely broke 3 pages and I made this thread less than 20 hours ago. And we already have 2 posters who joined today just for this thread. That is an awesome feeling. The call of the Walnut can not be resisted!

If you can install your own 3 pole jacks you could absolutely mod it for balanced output

Mine doesnt have serial number. Maybe only the v1.1 and v1.2 have it

Sure from the outside upon first read this might be construed as hype, but when it is actually on your ears and you are hearing the thing I feel it is simply a fair overall assessment of it.
