WADIA - 151 PowerDAC Mini SILVER

This is a Wadia DAC and Integrated Amp in a Single Chassis! The perfect match with the iTransport!

Since its inception, Wadia Digital has always been on the cutting edge of digital technology. The new Power DAC mini is the result of sheer ingenuity combining with today’s new modern digital sources (iPod, etc.). This product is best described as a DAC with a 50-watt integrated amplifier bolted to it, but that does not capture the innovation inside the PowerDAC mini. It’s literally just a digital-to-analog converter with gain, meaning that the signal stays in the digital domain, untouched by gain stages that add distortions, right until the signal exits as an analog waveform.

This purity is what gives the PowerDAC mini its unbelievable detail and imaging skill. And with the help of Wadia’s proprietary Digimaster up-sampling technology (24bit/384k), which ultimately creates the smooth analog sinewave at the output speaker terminals, you’ll experience the most natural portrayal of musical instruments and voices you have ever heard from such a compact device. Having a team of Wadia engineers on your side makes for quite a pleasurable listening experience.

The PowerDAC mini also throws a holographic soundstage: pure imaging on a three-dimensional plane. The circuit is so pure, you will also hear reproduction without grain or etch; there’s no digital hardness whatsoever. This product sounds so musical, with all the warmth and natural tonality of the actual recorded event intact. If you are one of the thousands of music lovers who already own a Wadia iTransport or just want to take advantage of today’s digital source material, you owe it to yourself to give the PowerDAC mini a listen.
