I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this. Based on descriptions of the W11JPN alone, this is what I've gathered. I love my ESW9, and if I could get a similar sound in a full sized can, I would be very happy. Does anyone have experience with both? I've only heard the current AT line. I also have no clue what the current price is on these... Thank you.

Well, I have an ES7 and a W11jpn and I happen to think that they share the sound sig that I like sooo much. I love them both very much.

I'd love to hear an ESW9 though...

So, sorry I cant help ya out. Unless you have an ES7 or if you want to send an ESW9 my way...

Do you have a line on w11jpns? Because yes, they do share characteristics. But the jpn is one of the hardest of the old ATs to acquire. To my ears, the VTGs, JPNs, L3000s, and ESW9s are in one sound family that is almost completely unlike any of the other ATHs.
