im in the market for some iem's. lost my monster turbine golds at the airport. they were loud but the mids were recessed and the bass was kinda muddy. i listen to 90% metal and 10% war theme classical. im looking for solid impactful bass, good midbass and sparkling highs without making your eardrums bleed. which of these two headphones will sound best for metal? i'll be playing these through  a Sansa clip zip(rockbox mod). i'll be upgrading to a Fiio X5 when it comes out. any other suggestions would be appreciated. id like to keep these under $200. also, i'll be using these in the gym and office or... when my pregnant wife is nagging. thanx

Gr07 be needs an amp? now im thinking about getting the fiio X3 instead of waiting on the X5. i like the idea of having an mp3 player with a good amp already installed instead of carrying serperates in your pocket

The X3 is perfect for the GR07 BE...that's exactly what I use when I'm out and about.
