I was looking at the GR07 MK2s on Amazon and had a few questions about them.
 
1) Do they really need 200 hours of burn in to perform well?
 
2) Would the bass be underwhelming if I transferred from Image s4's?
 
3) Can they be worn with the cable straight down?
 
4) Will they run well with a FireEye Mini amp or should I purchase a new one?

I own both the GR07 MK2 and BE.
 
1) They do improve as burn in however both sound pretty good out of the box.
 
2) I do not own the s4 so I can not make any comment. However I found the BE's bass suits me better and sounds more lifelike, the MK2 is little bit too analytical. 
 
3) They must be worn over the ear.
 
4) I do not own the Fireeye so I can not make any comment. However the GR07 does improve with any portable amp I own and do not have synergy issue.
