Currently I can get both of these for $166 which I think is a good deal shipped in USA.
They are new from a respectable reseller. I have an iPhone 4S and was wondering if I should get a L6 or not?
I read that the vsonic doesn't benefit much from mini amps.

$166 for the GR07 is a great deal. It doesn't benefit from amps, so you don't need the E6 (I had it for a while). The iPhone 4/4s is a great source, so you'll be fine.
 
Although you could get the E6, and resell it to put some money back in your pocket

The GR07 DOES benefit greatly with amps.
