I was wondering if the "2d" effect of the sonic improves over the burn in period. It doesn't sound like the sound is surrounding my ears but rather hitting me from the front. Almost like i have 2 speakers in front of me. They just aren't engaging as I would like them to be. Thanks. 
 
P.S. I think this is what you is called soundstage.

That's just their presentation as monitors. You may be better suited by another IEM. Look into the Yamaha EPH-100

Maybe that's why I like them for movies, they sound like a good 2.1 setup. And since no IEM I've heard can realistically turn a stereo image to a surround image unless the recording is binaural, I likes it. Music is nice with an enveloping presentation though.
