Lots of thoughts, and it is a nice amp, however I do not believe it is a contender for "Best for HD650". It does a better job than my D2 Boa, but not much. I do notice better instrument separation, and soundstage. Other than that it is a virtual tie with the Boa coming in at less than 1/3 the price.
