No, for this poll, everyone gets to vote for one set of headphones. So for your vote to "count", please post about one set of headphones or vote for one in the poll as the best bang for the buck based on your personal preferences, your current knowledge of full size headphones for under $300, your budget, and your use or likely use of associated equipment. We're not voting for headphones to be used by anyone or everyone else. Thanks

HD650 needs to be on that poll. You can get them for $300 new at Amazon now. (yes, i realize it's not authorized senn dealer).

Hmm, true. That would tend to constrain it to ATHs or the D2000 (since that's at about 2/3rds of the earlier price these days) in most cases. (Although aren't the drivers on the KSC75 basically the same size as in the SR60?)

The problem there is you knock it up into the upper parts of the range, where it is high enough to start becoming dependent on preference and "best" is really dodgy. But likely one of those two for someone's first venture.

HD650 new is nice...I think the "amp mandatory" status would bump it out of range, though.

No, the poll is fine like it is. Head-Fi only allows 10 options in a poll. You can vote option 10 (other) and then post any model of full size headphones you want to vote for that's under $300. So if the HD650 can be bought for under $300, you can vote for it just like chadbang did right under your post. So will you be voting for the HD650? Thanks

Yes. My vote is for the HD650...

But I felt that they should have gotten a spot on the top 10 list. I suspect there's a lot more people who just disregarded it as a choice because when THEY bought the phones, it was well over $300.
