Whoa!! how do they sound?

I haven't done any real critical listening and swapping back and forth with my other tubes, but they did strike me as being a bit sweeter on the top end a d bit more dynamic and vivid (perhaps a touch more detailed) for the rest of the range. I ended up staying up into the night listening to my favorite music. Again, not a critical review and it could just be new-gear-itis, but I haven't had much interest in swapping back (which I will do at some point to do some critical listening).

Did your Pacific arrive? Can you share impressions? After living with a Golden Gate 2 for some years, I'm interested in rebooting my system with a Pacific.

Agreed. I used Acme before that which were decent and were better than the T-series

I also use a Melz 1578 for my 6sn7 which also made a big difference for me. I had to try a few different ones to find one that had decent bass response and a very open soundstage.

I'm using Weiss 501 dac and want to say that it's most versatile dac I had ever have. A lot optiin for tuning incl. equalizer , room correction and many others give me ability to receive from dac-amp-hp near 90% that I want. (we always want more?)
I use Susvara btw

I just started to try different tubes…
I'm in shock! How good this beast can sound!
In my amp baddest tube was 6SN7.
It is biggest improvement.
6n1p can be way better two!
Meanwhile 5e4g gave me smallest but important improvement.
Didn't try to change 845 yet

@Leo246 Glad you are enjoying your Egoista. If I am following your post above correctly, you are substituting a different tube in place of the stock 6n1p? Are you speaking of using a different Soviet brand of 6n1p, or did you substitute another tube type in this position?

The best option for this position was 6n1p 1958
Totaly different sound from stock tube.

Finally I've changed all the tubes.
It is not better sound. It is different amp.
Someone told that Viva can't drive Susvara….
I think with all the different tubes it is perfect companion
It is hard to want more
