bah. they told me the security and what not was better with 64 bit, and not knowing much about the differences between the two, it sounded like a good choice. i just don't want to have to deal with problems. i want stuff to work. maybe OC a little if i get adventurous. nothing too tweaky just yet. how is the game performance with Vista? like i said, i've only seen a few articles on it, and it disappoints. stability and playability are what i look for...it XP has 5 frames on Vista, but Vista already runs at 50-60, then i don't care.

windows always needs a cooldown period before the software even becomes decent ! i'd say stick with XP for now and wait future versions of vista. How many people remember changing from win98 to XP ? virtually the same process. so i'd say stick with xp for now and use vista next year or so.
