Well, it's not just that -- is there software out there that will figure out what to put on the CD's? I have a hard time coming up with a 650-700M set of files...so, gorgon_123, I'm with you -- what's a better solution. Are there USB tape drives?

i glanced at tape drives earlier after reading eric343's post. the few i found that were 40gig were also $1000+ ... am i seeing things or did i not look thoroughly enough? it was a 2 second search so maybe they're cheaper than all that.

That is sad. Bad karma with MP3. Through all the viruses, my LP collection sits safely on the shelves. Digital sucks. The proof is in the pudding. There is a price to be paid for convenience. Go LP and recycled paper. Why destroy your eyesight and health accessing music "files"? It is supposed to be an enjoyable hobby. Let's keep it that way.
