YES!Can't stand live music in reality cause it measures pretty bad actually. Much noisier than my A90 tbh.

But note how the voltage ️delivered rises as the impedance rises .That is quite a difference! Thanks.
I hadn't even paid attention. I just love comparitive reference lists and couldn't wait to read/write another one.But note how the voltage ️delivered rises as the impedance rises .

This is the right thread for this question to find a good match for the V222. What’s your budget?Guys I've just bought the v222 a few days, got a beyer dt1990 pro and looking to get another hp. looking for a more warmer sounding for jazz, rock and metal
Any suggestion? (pls let me know if I should open thread instead) Thanks
Let me be the first one to offer Focal Clear's (mine are the OG's). I loved my Focal Elex's just as much. Lots of warmth with this combo. Such a sweet sound.Guys I've just bought the v222 a few days, got a beyer dt1990 pro and looking to get another hp. looking for a more warmer sounding for jazz, rock and metal
been listening it with my custom iem which i love so much (64 A18s) it pairs so well with -16 gain
So far i've auditioned hd660s which was good, also interested at hifiman arya organic
Any suggestion? (pls let me know if I should open thread instead) Thanks
Its a speculation but I expect the V222 being warm should pair nicely with the Arya Organic which is described to be slightly bright leaning (though not fatiguing).Guys I've just bought the v222 a few days, got a beyer dt1990 pro and looking to get another hp. looking for a more warmer sounding for jazz, rock and metal

Hello! New to the thread and wanted to say hi and add some info since I currently have the v222 paired with the Arya Organic. While I love the combo (the vio has ample power to really make them sing) I still get sharpness and brightness on some tracks that can be fatiguing. I have it paired with an eversolo ess dac though so maybe that could be it? IMO if you are very sensitive to brightness and treble, the vio might not be enough to tame the Aryas. I fall into the sensitive camp though so YMMV!Its a speculation but I expect the V222 being warm should pair nicely with the Arya Organic which is described to be slightly bright leaning (though not fatiguing).

You have ‘heard’ but not heard. There are ‘pre-gain’ DIP switches in the back of V202 / V222 which run -18dB, -6dB, +6dB, +18dB; 0dB is the default setting. The lower settings accommodate the use of headphones / IEMs of higher sensitivity. What is the best violetric Amp for iems ? I want the the v202 or v222 but I heard they’re a little noisy for iems lmk
All my IEMs sound great on the V222 with the gain set to -18. Right now I have the Sony IER-M9, UM Mest Mk2, and Symphonium Crimson. What is the best violetric Amp for iems ? I want the the v202 or v222 but I heard they’re a little noisy for iems lmk
I was going to mention that but I wasn't sure how it would partner with IEM's. When I use my very efficient headphones on the Vio V220, I go to -12 and still can't get the volume past 9:00.You have ‘heard’ but not heard. Just plugged in my cadenza's to my V222, I hear nothing but silence. This is at the -6db setting too, you can't go wrong, it's great flexibility too if you might want to eventually go to full size hp's.What is the best violetric Amp for iems ?
