was going to say! Certainly my 180-200g pressings are almost twice as thick and twice as heavy as the rest of my collection. In any event even if the materia was denser, unless it's thinner then regular vinyl (which would be a problem in itself) it's going to be heavier.

Like others have said, it can depend on a lot of factors. I own some japanese pressings of of the police and the doors and they sound incredible and damn quiet too.
