I have an old 1975 Marrantz 2230 reciever that has a couple burnt out lamps on the front. Does anyone know if replacing them is a somewhat simple DIY task, and also, any idea where I could find them?
Thanks

If you get in there (and watch those caps!) pull a bulb and see what it's marked. Most of the bulbs tell you what they are on the side. They're service items, so they shouldn't be too bad to replace.

How many Head-Fi'ers does it take to change a lightbulb?

I have a vintage Marantz receiver and I replaced a couple of bulbs. I'm not sure about your model, but mine (1520) has "fuse bulbs" which are lightbulbs in a standard fuse form factor. I found some at a local electronics store.

The originals were blue colored, so I placed some blue film in front of the ones I got.
