In the opening scene of the latest Doctor Who episode ("Hide"), a character pulls on these vintage AKGs (I spoiler-tagged the images, because they're large):

Anybody know what those are? My first thought was Sextetts, but the photos I can find of Sextetts have a silver "K-240" on the back of the cup, not a gold AKG logo like these. (This part of the episode is set in 1974, if that helps.)

They are K240 Monitors. The current version is a reiteration of this line. those were 600ohms and a beast to drive.

Tut. They're phones from the '80s, earliest. They shouldn't even have the Sextetts back then - nor any other AKG of that style.
