Pretty happy with this change.
Might be just that I'm getting used to the sound of the 10k's, might be totally psychosomatic, but pretty happy with the changes I believe I perceive.
The color is a tad garish though

I'm betting they sound practically the same.Gauge or lesser count of strands whatsoever
Everything seems to be coming through sharper, faster attack, faster decay (or airy decay if the instrument calls for it), all while retaining the resonance that I like about the 10K's to begin with.

So, again, you know, it could be my imagination. But the original 10k as is didn’t sound right to me. I loved the resonance, but really felt like the transients weren’t so hot. But after the recable, it “feels” like the transients improved dramatically, and now the resonance that makes the 10ks so special enhances the mojo2’s transient capability, rather than just replace it.Oh, how do you find it??
Is it a good synergy??
So for me, it now feels like an great match.
Wow, great to hear that. The only recent matching I had that sounded like that to me was my old ma8 dap (you can see one on penon) really great pairing, but this dap is very limited in terms of connectivity.

Btw, does anyone have a link to a good foam tip for the 10k’s? Can’t seem to get a good seal with spiraldot or spinfit. Guessing foam is the way to go for my ears.

The Comply 400 Series might be the solution.Btw, does anyone have a link to a good foam tip for the 10k’s? Can’t seem to get a good seal with spiraldot or spinfit. Guessing foam is the way to go for my ears.
The Spiral Dot SF series might also be worth a look.

I'm currently listening to some ripped music, and... Let's just say I'm hearing a BIG difference between Lossless and 256kps streaming. I wasn't a believer before, but now I am.
