Hi,

I'm just got the FiiO UTWS5 and paired them with the Shure 846 g2. Absolutely loving the pair up and using the AK SP3k as the source. It's fine to take the SP3k along to the coffee shop in a bag but for me wholly inconvenient to take for a walk in the park or something.

So I'm looking to get a device which has to connect to the FiiO UTWS5 with aptX adaptive so I can maximize that. I will probably get the ifi go pod and for that having LDAC would be a plus.

It should be portable, and easy to use. I really the Hidizs AP80 PRO-X but it does not have aptX adaptive but does have LDAC. Something like the Hidizs or thereabouts/smaller would be great. my EDC already includes 2 iphones (14 pro and max) so looking for something which can slip in the pocket and not feel it.

I don't know if a Sony NW-A55 could do this for you? It's a very small and capable DAP

How about your smartphone paired with a Creative BT-W5 + a nice microsd card along with it. Using it w/ Poweramp. Be sure to disable internal BT.

Here with my S23 Ultra 1TB + BT-W5. UTWS5 + UM Mentor OG. BT-W5 fits in the case of UTWS5 along with your IEM.

I’m using an iPhone. I believe there are challenges connecting the creative to it as it draws too much power.

I think there may be many more users / potential users of the ifi GO pod and also the UTWS5 who want to use the BT adapters on the go. Currently a lot of the phones (in fact all iPhones and the majority of Samsung phones) don't have the bluetooth codes needed to run these optimally. And the devices that do have the required codec's are all DAP's and that's great but when you're out and about with a iPhone in your pocket do you really want to carry another device which will be just as large?
I think there would be many people who want a DAC which can connect to the phone and transmit bluetooth signals to these headsets.

I have perused so many forums, threads and looked on amazon but there are many solutions for a tv transmitter. if you find anything that may work until someone makes one please let me know.
