if you have a good amp to drive some like hd650 and like the sound signature , then zen 3.0fe is good, if u wanna some more of a modern sound, like more towards the hd800ish, asura3.0FE is good, both can also be a nice pairing with our megatron

thank you, power wont be a problem. i would like to get the stage and overall tuning of the hd800s as i didnt even know there anything similar available besides the Fiio EM5

it's pretty hard to sound like a full size high imp can..when the earbud is like low imp. it is just lower sensitive for lower distortion kind of thing from high-imp stuff to have that kind of special sound.

for example the holographic presentation of the yinman 600 ohm or the fiio em5 are among the best i heard from flatheads so far. no problem to drive the yinman 600ohm low sensitivity for example with an xduoo xd05pro even single ended

honestly i was somewhat hoping the Sun Copper would have the most holographic experience, as from reading it seems to be an exceptional bud

Personally, while I'm a Metapod fan, I find them a little tricky to fit. Foam helps me out in that regard, though you mention not liking foam, so I'm not sure what to tell you. They may fit you perfectly, or not. I'll say the white cable version is very inexpensive so it may not hurt too much to give it a go. I don't notice a big difference between the versions. Lee says the SPC has better bass. Sound wise, I like them. Not sure if they fit natural and neutral exactly, but maybe!

I wouldn't recommend Monk Plus 7 for you because it's the same MX-style shell as V2S. I can't say if it's 100% one-to-one identical but it's at least the same type of earbud design, so if you already have trouble with any other earbuds with that shape, MP7 will probably fit the same for you.

I can understand your comments about the descriptions on the site. VE information is a bit scattered between their own site, their retail pages (Ali, Taobao, etc.), the Telegram group, and Facebook page. You need to follow all of them pretty closely to get the full picture with some of the new products.

I'm not the best person to ask that question.

MP7 is potentially my least favorite Monk of all. I don't straight up hate it but it's not in my regular rotation. Most others seem to enjoy it, which is fine. Opinions are opinions.

The most holographic earbuds I ever heard till date is the Zen SU, followed by Sun Copper/Zen White, what kind of sound signature do you prefer?

Well I'm impressed I was listening to old Seger song with my zen 3.0fe and could here a crackle coming from my left driver I thought it was going out til I realized it was the guitar pick hitting the strings first time I was ever able to hear that small of a detail

I'm experiencing an issue with my Prime DAC. It's feeding an SMSL SP400 amp via 4.4 to dual 3-pin XLR, and it sounds quiet. It is connected to a Windows 11 Dell OptiPlex 3090 mini PC via a powered ORICO USB HUB. Music is playing through Deezer and Foobar2K (WASAPI). I tried connecting it with a 65W laptop charger, and the volume level stayed the same. What could be the reason?
