has anyone tried Venhaus' DIY speaker cables? I was wondering if anyone could comment on thier sound and possibly any mistakes could have been made by a newbie.

I plan on halving the gauge to 20 gauge and i was wondering if that might hamper the design.

so if anyone who has built these or heard these feel free to chime in!

the cat5 stuff ? I've just finished a 4m pair based on a similar design. (see this ). This website explains everything really clearly.

It's easy, cheap (1$/ft, +terminations) just takes a lot (i mean a LOT) of time. For my pair, about 15 hours (i made the 15 pairs kind).
