Right before the Head-Fi outage I was shopping online for a new pair of in-ears, and shortly after the site went down I started to consider buying the Vibes (Red Roxx). The reviews from around the internet seemed great, so I finally gave in and bought them for $85 new on eBay (I also order PX100's, and Yuin PK2's).

When Head-Fi had the search function working after the shortage, I was surprised to see how many people disliked the vibes and the poor quality rating.

What should I do?

I doubt they'll beat the PK2s or PX100s

Buy an Audio Technica ATH-CK7 and never look back!

I'd resell. I bought the Vibe Duo recently. Got home from out-of-town trip, tried for 2 days before packing back up and exchanging for Ultimate Ears 4vi. The Vibe Duo (maybe different for your Red Roxx) sound like bass-bloated mush. There are a number of other things to like about them, but none could trump the poor SQ.

I'm not saying go get the 4vi, especially if you don't have an iPhone. But I think you can do much better than the Vibes.
