Here's my symbol to go on the shield. I sent in a black and white version of course, but it's going to be white M-100's and crimson red shieldplates so I changed the colors to kinda get an idea of how it'll look.

Props to whoever gets what it is, and I can't wait to get my M-100s!

I posted this on the M100, too, but I think this applies here:

1) What iem does the M100 most sound like? I've heard a bunch so that would really help me if a couple of you could mention a few that are comparable...

2) Anyone done side by side listening with the Amperior? I know some have owned the Amperior and sent it on its way but anyone been able to AB them side by side. I've actually been impressed by the Amperior but I just am not fan of on ear.

From the other thread:

Someone commented on my unboxing video, asking if they were better than the M-80's. They said something like 'Is the bass better? Because that's where the M-80's are really lacking.'

I was like 'Uuuuuhhhh. No.'

I just told him to look at the Sony XB series or the Pro700MK2 if he didn't think the bass on M-80's was good. I did mention that the M-100's bass is better, more refined, etc., but I don't know if he was really all that knowledgable about audio.

Just wanted to bump my question from above about comparisons between the DT-880 and the M-100.  If anyone has heard both, I would appreciate your comments, both on differences in comfort and sound quality.  The BD Custom One Pro looks like it offers similar functionality/customization options to the M-100, minus some sound quality, for $100 less.  All thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

Just curious:  How much did the prerelease 100's go for?

I ask because I just noticed two for sale at fleabay.  One asking $650 and the other $2500.

I know folks can do as they wish, but I certainly hope they're not head-fi'ers trying to make a quick buck.

Do lp/lp2 shields fit to m100? Maybe someone has experience in that. Also I don't understand when I need to send my image to customs@v-moda.com before or after ordering? If I order headphones without image it can't be added lately I think but If I order headphones with image it may be as base for engrave.

VTF-100's went for $310.
Pretty sure the one asking $2500 is a head-fier as he posted the same picture in his ebay ad as he did on head-fi.
