Nice review, I agree with your comments on the M80.  At home I have several more expensive headphones but the M80 easily holds its own against them.

The M80 replaced my Pioneer SE-MJ591 as my portable cans. I can't wait to get the M-100.

I'm waiting for the main release or if V-Moda would send me one for review. I'm hoping for the latter.

Which would you recommend I like the over ear and I like bass but you said the m80s have around 400 dollars value, but how much do the lp2s have I listen to hip hop and that stuff I like bass and I like comfort. I want something that's has great sound quality I wouldn't say I'm a audiophile at all. I have never owned a good pair of headphones before and I want something I would like. I don't I'm leaning toward the lp2s but I want the best I can get for my music in the sub $225 category. What would you say is the best?
