This is her new album, which was released just recently.

I'm a big, big fan or hers and I think this may just be her best effort to date. I know this sounds like a bold assessment considering the benchmark status of Deep River, but anyone with a remote interest in j-pop should try and judge for himself. Straight pop at its best. Excellent sound quality, too.

Crazy didn't know you were a fan! Maybe I'll check it out.

<opinion>

She hasn't put anything remotely good out since Deep River, and really only "Sakura Drops" was good from that album...

She should really stick to ballads, she's good at them.

For me, high dream factor to Yumi Matsuzawa.

But the one I go back to most often is Maaya Sakamoto: Dive. It seems real concept album style to me and has a pretty great flow.

Thanks for the other tips!

I think that repetition is due to j-pop ness.

I personally would like to see more artists writing their own songs.

"Getsu-yo no Asa" is a great song.

Enjoyed these 3 on the album very much: Prisoner of Love, Heart Station and Stay Gold

Feels much more mature compared to Ultra Blue I must say, the last sounding more experimental and electronic which I didn't really like

Kudos to her , she still writes her own songs

This is her best work to date replacing Ultra Blue and Deep River, IMHO. It really shows how she's matured and evolved over the years.

Check out her new single "Triangler", it's just available for sale.
The title song is the typical anime bubbly song, but it's still catchy and Maaya's voice is great as usual.

I like the B-side a lot more though, it's a slower song, her voice is unbelievably sweet.

Upon listening and re-listening, the songs are a bit repetitive. I still think it's a great album though.

Another jpop album I've been listening to a lot is Ayaka's First Message.
