I wish I were on the first page in the list of members sorted by "date joined" but I guess I can't do anything about that. I'll have to be happy with having joined on the date that the most people joined.

There are almost 2 complete pages of members who joined on 6/22.

I never really cared about those things. The important thing is to have a productive headphone discussion, the rest of it is decoration. I've said that on Headwize about a year ago and will say it again, if I could I'd share my posts with all of you guys that want to get more stars (who remembers the HeadWize stars) under your name.

I wish Chu would make it easier to get beyond Member. I'd just done my 50 posts to get my first set of cans, then he shut down the boards and changed it all!

Long long ago, at a message board far far away and completely unrelated to this one, I had well over 5000 posts...

Not that I could ever brag anymore then Neruda already is.

Oh, and blr said the same thing I always did. Of all the boards I chill at, I don't think I've even checked my post count ONCE (including this, and now I refuse to). Funny thing is, one of the boards there was a discussion about how pointless they are, everyone agreed that it was stupid and pretended they didn't care. Next thing you know the admin turns the counts off and they all bitched. What a surprise.

I don't think the titles should have to do w/ your headphone experience per se, just your experience w/ Head-fi. How about this list?

- Head-fi Member // 25-99
- Head-fi Regular // 100-249
- Head-fi Adept // 250-499
- Head-fi Veteran // 500-999
- Head-fi Phenom // 1000-1999
- Head-fi Legend // 2000+

Having lots of steps in the beginning might encourage people to post more (and stay with Head-Fi and develop an interest, instead of moving on) and will also identify those less-frequent posters as respected (able?) members of Head-Fi.

Hmm... I don't like Phenom as a title tho. Maybe "Headmeister"? or does that sound too much like Postmaster? How about "Honorary Moderator"
