Hey guys, I'm looking for a vintage/used integrated amp that will power my Energy C-3 speakers just as well as my Pioneer A-35r does. I've got to use the pioneer for a different setup now, but would still like to keep the performance of my Energy C-3's at the same level. In hopes of saving some money, I thought that perhaps some vintage/used amps on ebay could help. Is this is a bad idea? Should I just buy another Pioneer A-35r? Any ideas?

I really liked my Pioneer 35R and so do others here.

If you cannot find another one, consider a Marantz 1060. You may have to budget to have the unit bench tested and replace the 40 year old caps, but they use discrete output transistors and sound rich, unlike much of todays IC powered amps.
