Are the high end headphones powered by battery? I want a pair of headphones powered by USB

High end headphones will not be powered by battery nor USB. These are features seen in low-end $10-20 models.

I'll start by saying that getting a USB headphone to dodge the need of a DAC is not the way to go because usb headphones don't sound good anyways.
