For the past year or so I've been using a logitech headset for my computer, and it had a built in soundcard(a not so great one, but it was fine for my uses). Well, now the right headphone driver no longer works and I'm stuck with onboard sound, which, compared to the cheap soundcard built into the logitech, is 10 times worse.
What I'm looking for is something just to get me back to that lackluster sound that was provided by my heaset(will be used 90% of the time for gaming and the other 10 for background noise while studying so it would be great if it wasn't a resource hog), I would prefer to keep it under $100. Another option I was considering would be another USB headset, but one with a longer warranty/ of higher quality.
I listen to a great deal of my Audio on my iAudio G3/grado sr60's, and I am very content with that for music.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
