So I got this Jcally JM6 Pro DAC, which is not that powerful — 1.6 vrms and it keeps disconnecting from my Poco F1 with Android 13. Usually like every 5, 10 seconds, sometimes a minute or 2. Yet sometimes it works perfectly fine for hours. And I can't figure out what's causing it. I changed ROMs, tried various kernel, battery profiles and USB related settings, even changed the whole USB-C port with its board, it's clean and not loose. The DAC itself works fine on other phones. Different iems don't change anything. Can the 2 month old aftermarket battery cause this? It seems to perform fine otherwise. Is it the Power Management Unit IC? Any ideas what it could be, what else can I try?

What audio player are you trying on your Poco and does it allow for exclusive access?

Neutron, which is getting exclusive usb access. Poweramp too. YouTube, Spotify. Player doesn't make a difference, same disconnects happen if it has exclusive access or not.

Sort of a pain but something to try... under your settings, app info, menu, reset app preferences.

This will reset it for all apps, unfortunately.

I'm suggesting this because I have an Android tablet that was having problems with USB out all of a sudden.

There must have been an app update that caused an issue with the usb port, and resetting all app preferences solved it for me.

That's not it, it does nothing. I even clean flashed a whole different OS (ROM) and that didn't help.
