I think my left mmcx connection on the urbanfun started being very loose ("loose" as in gravity > connection lol) after I switched cables 3 times. So just one switch shouldnt be that dangerous

(I am using tape to secure it though)

Wow. Guess I'll have to see these iems as not really having user replaceable cables. I already tried 5 different cables with my smabat, 2 more than the "shelf-life" of the urban funs. Lol

Was your unit in a black- or white box? Mine arrived in a white box, so if yours was as well, then I won't swap out the cables.

I have only gotten them today and listened for about an hour. That's not enough to give any proper opinion on this. But, so far, they sound really fun and definitely for bassheads. The bass sounds more "dynamic" on these, compared to my BL-03s. Will see what burn-in does for these, and will have to judge after that.

Is it just me or do these sound even better on a high power device? Connected these to jotunheim balanced last night and bass and vocals sounded even more Fun then balanced on btr5 and 5K (qudelix), these are amazing iem. I now finally have a working set after 4 months waiting. Thanks to linsoul for there amazing help!

btw have anyone here using the tfz no. 3, how this compared to uf. i’m afraid to gamble the uf and thinking to get this instead. whats you guys’ opinion?

For me, the Urbanfun is better in everyway. The only thing that you might like more in the no.3 is that the bass rumbles more (looser) so if you like that kind of bass then no.3 will be better.

But with the QC of the urbanfun I have a hard time recommending it...

The YBF iss014 is way better than the TFZ No3. A major step up.

On Amazon I see two variants:

Linsoul has a black strain relief and heartbeeps has a clear strain relief. Does that in any way distinguish WTH you're buying ?
