Hey guys, I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade my 4g iPod 20GB Color Display's hard drive to a 40GB hard drive or higher?. The 20GB iPod Color Display's casing is slightly thicker than the 20GB iPod (monochrome/black&white)'s casing.

Will I be able to swap my 20GB hard drive with the 5mm 40GB one?

Maybe I'll just upgrade it to 60GB instead of 40GB.

You would need to get the thicker back plate to accommodate the thicker hard drive too if you are upgrading to 60gb instead of 40gb.

I was told the 40GB and 60GB HDD are exchangeable but not the 20GB.
