What about releasing the stock one that comes with the FD5 as a standalone cable, there's definitely a market for that as well !
Dear friend,

Thanks for the feedback. We will report your feedback to the product manager. But actually, the LC-RC is using the same material as the FD5's cable. They only have difference in the out-looking.

Best regards

Just got the cable today and only have a few hours with it but my early impressions are that it brings the bass and mids more to the front on OG Solaris. This is going to become my go to cable for the days I wanna be a bass head.

I just ordered these for my Andromeda 2020. I had a copper 4.4 cable but these interchangeable plugs is just too good to pass up as I now need to keep switching between the stock and copper cables for my ps controller port

Just got my new cable. Not going to pretend I hear any sound quality improvements over the old one, also a Fiio, but my Z1Rs feel a bit more comfortable as this new cable is more flexible and lighter. The interchangeable plugs is such a massive bonus as I use both 2.5 and 4.4 mm. I replaced a Fiio LC-2.5C cable.

I have only experienced the FH5s with the Pro cable. So, I can’t comment on the improvement.

What I can say is that I found that the large foam tips were not big enough for me. So, I bought some SonicFoam eartips which although labelled large, are more like extra large. They are perfect and give a perfect seal. I’m fairly confident they have improved the bass the best. They’re very affordable With quality presentation and great customer service.

I have the bass and mid dip switches on. I think they’re amazing for my taste in music which is primarily electronic, electro, dance pop. I find it totally depends on the track. Goldfrapp tracks, for example, sound balanced and hopefully as intended. Some tracks seem treble heavy on various earphones and I think it’s down to poor production or mastering. Otherwise there is a lot of resolution here and each component of a track gets its day in the Sun. For some, they maybe prefer these things more muffled/suppressed. I also only listen to them on the balanced port of a dual DAC/AMP source, e.g. the BTR5 2021 and Hiby R3 Pro Saber.
