I've had the AF180Mk1 for a couple of years now, and have been pretty happy with them once I found decent isolation from tri-flanges. They replaced Westone W4, which in turn replaced UM3.

But I've been saving during "lockdown" and now have upgradeitis. But the downer - I'm too old to muck around with sources for portable listening. Most of my listening is hooked to an iPhone 11 pro.

Is there any obvious source agnostic upgrade path in the USD$600-1,000 range?

Just bumping this again - the case of my AF180 broke along the join this morning I'm going to try to superglue back together, but we'll see. Maybe I should have got a second pair when Amazon had them reduced to AUD$180 on clearance.....
